Portable Salad Garden workshop plus free volunteer sessions

From this hands-on workshop you will plant and take home a fish-bin garden. Keep it by the kitchen door for an endless supply of fresh salad greens. Learn how to make your own paepae garden, using our rich organic compost, and salad greens of your choice.
With over 30 years gardening experience, Hannah Zwartz has been a garden weeder, pruner, writer, designer and teacher. Her workshops draw on wide experience to distill valuable insights, tips and shortcuts, sharing enthusiasm and inspiration in the joys of gardening.
These workshops help fundraise for the free education sessions that Hannah and others run at Common Unity on a weekly basis and supports our seasonal seedling boxes going to community and school gardens across Te Awakairangi ki Tai.
