OrganicNZ needs you!
Our parent organisation, Soil & Health Association of New Zealand, is struggling to break even – basically, we need your help. We have a plan but we need the help of our grassroots organic community. People who care about our soil, our food, our people, and our future. You.
Soil & Health champions society’s collective responsibility to protect the health of our soils for future generations. Its guiding principle is oranga nuku, oranga kai, oranga tāngata / healthy soil, healthy food, healthy people. Find out more about Soil & Health’s campaigns and advocacy, and how to get involved, at the Soil & Health Association website.

We need volunteers
Grass-roots volunteers. We need a network of regional coordinators to coordinate a network of district coordinators to coordinate a network of grass-roots members to share organic skills and information. We are kicking that off in May 2024 with Organic Week. Do you like organics and meeting people? Can you participate at any level?
We need National Councillors. We need people motivated to bring about the change and lead us forward into the future – and we believe organics is looking better than ever and is vital to our future. Now is our time, we just need leaders to take us there. Do you have business skills?
We need movers and shakers. We need people to advocate on behalf of the organic sector. Do you like making a difference?
We need social media and web whizzes. Our online presence needs reviewing, revising, maintaining – and probably increasing. From our websites to maintaining an Instagram account, we need all levels of skills and expertise. Do you like organics, computers, and want to volunteer to be part of a fun, remote-based team?
We need business partners
We need people to share our message. Do you have a website where you could link to us and distribute the word?
We need advertisers. Our readers are looking for organic products and your marketing spend is very targeted on our website & newsletter.
We need sponsors to support campaigns like GE Free, organic standards, land & soil protection, toxins & contaminants. Can you help us help New Zealand?
Mostly we need money
We have a good plan, we are tracking in the right direction, but it will take a little time. We need financial backing to stay solvent and keep publishing the only magazine in Aotearoa focused on increasing the knowledge of organics. Can you spare a dime? Any amount is appreciated.
Please consider contributing $50, $100, or whatever you can afford. All donations over $5 are eligible for a tax credit.
