From 1 to 7 May 2024, Organic Week Aotearoa will celebrate organic agriculture and showcase organic producers as guardians of their land.
For 2024, we are launching Organic Field Days, a unique opportunity for farmers and visitors alike to connect, learn, and celebrate the benefits that organic brings to our health and our environment.
For farmers, these events provide a platform to showcase their commitment to sustainable land management, fostering closer ties with local communities while enhancing their visibility and customer demand. Visitors, on the other hand, will gain valuable insights into organic farming practices, reconnect with the land, and gain a deeper appreciation for environmentally responsible agriculture.
Getting involved is simple—whether as a participating farm or an eager attendee, Organic Field Days offers a rewarding experience for all involved, promoting education, engagement, and local pride in organic agriculture.
This Organic Week, let’s spark conversations that develop deeper connections between what we eat and the world around us.
